Group 1 winning three-year-olds So You Think and Dariana have joined the Melbourne stables of Bart Cummings as they build up to spring returns.
Last year's Cox Plate winner So You Think , who sat out the autumn through injury, has been back in work as he trims up for an assault on Group 1 feature while Dariana , winner of the Queensland Derby a month ago today, is back from a short spell.
So You Think won the Cox Plate as a three-year-old and then was runner-up in the Emirates Stakes at his last run before a spell.
He hasn't raced since but according to Cummings is doing “everything right” in his work leading up to his return.
Cummings is yet to decide on a starting point for the rising four-year-old.
Dariana, another rising four-year-old, was controversially declared a runner in the Queensland Oaks when missing the start and taking no part.
She bounced back next start to beat the boys in the Queensland Derby before a brief winter break.
The filly has been installed one of the leading fancies for the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups while So You Think is one of the shorter Cox Plate chances.
